Danny Arnett and Jeff Lim are the latest members to have joined La Jolla, California-based Palomar Specialty Insurance Company (“Palomar”).

After the building and sale of a legal services startup, he began his insurance career authorizing large limits of catastrophe capacity for industrial and energy lines of business at C.V. Starr & Co. in New York.  He transitioned to American International Group where he managed the global CAT risk value chain from production strategy to alternative risk transfer for $8bn of Personal Lines Premium.

He brings a B.S. in Business Management from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona and a M.S in Risk Management from The School of Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science at St Johns University.


Jeffery D. Lim, Esq. | Vice President, Legal, Compliance & Claims

Jeffery D. Lim, Esq. joins Palomar Specialty Insurance Company as Vice President of Legal, Compliance & Claims.  Jeff has a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1991.   Jeff has been representing property and casualty insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation since 1995. He appeared on behalf of Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company in the California Supreme Court in 2004. More recently, Jeff served as Vice President of Legal for Personable Insurance Company.
